Recent exemplimentary cases

Multilingual eCommerce multisite

A WooCommerce website for lawn feed products. Took over the project after another company left the website slow and non-functional. I was the full-stack developer, and I worked closely with a diverse team of marketers and entrepreneurs to complete the project.

My responsibilities included:
• Setting up a multisite
• Converting designs to WordPress pages
• Optimizing website speed
• Creating customizable website elements
• Building custom WooCommerce emails
• Adding track and trace code to the emails

Page Speed Optimization
Note: I worked on this website as a member of the webdevelopment company team of JVH webbouw

A website optimization project that resulted in an exceptionally high Google PageSpeed test score of 97 for mobile and 100 for desktop, which provided the client with an advantage in Google search result rankings.

Some of the techniques used to achieve the desired results:
• Researched and analyzed site performance and bottlenecks
• Enabled page caching
• Unloaded unnecessary CSS and JavaScript assets
• Delayed the loading of JavaScript files, except those needed above the fold
• Optimized images and enabled lazy load for images
• Rebuilt site features to remove slow plugins

Product Customization Tool
Note: I worked on this website as a member of the webdevelopment company team of JVH webbouw

An on-page product customization tool for a company selling mirrors. This four-step, user-friendly tool allowed customers to configure and preview the mirror's design and dimensions, view its price, and order the custom product.

I created this fully-functional and responsive on-page tool based on the client's design and requirements, using the advanced custom fields (ACF) plugin. With customizability in mind, I also built an admin dashboard where the client can configure all options and prices for their customers.

WooCommerce Website
Note: I worked on this website as a member of the webdevelopment company team of JVH webbouw

An eCommerce website with one million in yearly revenue.

As part of a web development team, I provided custom work for which there were no ready-made solutions available, including:
• Setting up a composite product configurator
• Converting designs to WordPress features
• Creating a custom search page
• Customizing WooCommerce emails
• Setting up a quotation feature

IT Programming Courses Website
Note: I worked on this website as a member of the webdevelopment company team of JVH webbouw

A WordPress multilingual website for IT programming courses.

I built this website from scratch using a custom-made theme with performance in mind. Some of the features I worked on include:
• Instant live search
• XML feeds for other training providers and platforms such as Edudex and Springest
• Monthly training schedule calendar
• Automated infosheet PDF from the course page
• Custom signup form
• Converted (PSD) designs to WordPress pages
• Page speed optimization
